Lunar Yoga
Lunar Yoga is a practice that is essentially very yin, but includes some yang for balance just as the taijitu symbol shows; a bit of yang (white areas) within the yin (black areas).
~ “Dawn put together a yoga routine that I started doing, to help me stay flexible and have overall better health. I want to say that Dawn is amazing. She is a knowledgeable teacher, easy to understand, has a warm, positive personality, and is a joy to learn from. I highly recommend Dawn for yoga, health, and wellness.”

ABOUT DAWN
Can you say “spondylolisthesis?”
If you have it, my bet is, you can not only say it, but you can spell it, too, because even before you are shown the x-ray results, it is an almost constant concern and a distracting pain in your back every day of your life.
Yoga instructor and creator of Lunar YogaⒸ, Dawn Price, knows this word intimately. Years ago, when a surgeon gave her a prognoses of a Grade 3 (out of 5) “spondy” at L4/L5 in her lumbar spine, he also mentioned that he had never seen a patient with this degree of vertebral slippage who was not in a wheelchair. He explained that he could not just “put the vertebra back.” Furthermore, he admitted that if he did the surgery, bracing the area of concern, it would be most likely that the vertebra above the metal plate might begin to slip forward as well.
What would you do?
After many chiropractors, physical therapists, and another visit to the back surgeon, Dawn chose a daily yoga practice and the life choices that go with it, instead.
What makes the practice of yoga a solution for “spondy?” A bit of EFFORT alongside a bit of EASE; a dedicated practice without any need for perfection and a release of competition with anyone except the spirit within. As you watch your body and mind transform, your experience of life approaches what Dawn has coined, a “balanced bliss.”
Dawn believes that transformation is possible for anyone who makes a COMMITMENT to positive choices.
Lunar Yoga was developed through her years of teaching yoga which began with the yang styles of Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga and evolved to become a more yin style informed by one of her main, well-studied teachers, Bernie Clark.
You, too, deserve a life free from limiting, tiresome pain and the choices that are holding you back. Imagine recreating your life. Dawn can be your guide to change HOW you see the world and as a result, WHO YOU ARE in it. Lunar Yoga can help.
Be curious. Transform. Be different. Be happy.

Teacher Bio and Lunar Yoga Class Description
I have been teaching yoga since 2018 and have completed the 50-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Bernie Clark in addition to my 500-hour RYT certification. My classes are a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga and other types of exercise that tend to emphasize internal heat and the lengthening/contraction of muscles. Although my own Lunar YogaⒸ classes will include a bit of yang energy within each sequence, the primarily yin practice will target your connective tissues, ligaments, bones, and joints; working to improve your overall flexibility and range of motion. While Yin is passive and soft, it can be quite challenging, not only physically, but mentally as well, due to the duration of the poses (anywhere from 2-8 minutes) which allow the deeper tissues ample time to stretch/be stressed. I would welcome you as a visitor at one of my upcoming classes!
